Meeting at the MOA compound bright and early, we'll have a rider's briefing before kitting up and riding out to slay the best tracks FNQ has on offer.
We head for the hills via the winding Kuranda Range Road before turning off into the jungle to discover a vast array of lush pine trees and tropical rainforest. Going over or around logs and huge termite mounds on plenty of really awesome trails including tight single & technical rocky goaties, stunning open grasslands, creek crossings and fast flowing dirt tracks- all the while you're building up a mean hunger on the way to our scenic bush lunch spot. After refuelling our bodies and bikes we ride on to find and tackle many more awesome tracks for the afternoon while making our way to a lovely old Queensland country pub in the quaint little town of Mount Molloy or “Mollywood” as it’s known by a few local characters. This is home for the night, quench your thirst with a few cold ones from the bar and there is usually live music to entertain. A classic pub menu will be on offer for dinner with fantastic hearty meals served up.
On day two after a cooked breakfast, we roll out and rip into many more epic morning mixed jungle tracks before arriving at our bush pit-stop where you will enjoy a packed lunch on the trail. Afterwards we'll ride out the last gnarly bush tracks for the afternoon sesh while eventually making our way to the hardtop for the scenic run back into the Moto Odyssey Australia compound where we'll arrive around 16:30 in the arvo for a cold drink and sign off before the crew part ways.
It has been an exhilarating couple of days on the bikes with so many awesome tracks and good times had. Now you're good to go on your way with some long-lasting memories of this one...
-Note to consider: This 2 day ride focuses on enduro riding on bush tracks with less road sections. It does not take you to visit the more well-known tracks, sights and/or destinations. This tour is definitely do-able with a keen attitude and some bike fitness. It will be more technical/difficult than Tour A, even more so after some rain, so get physically and mentally prepared for this one..
